We are facing increased costs associated with running our network and supporting our customers. These include rising energy costs plus the investment to support the growing demand on our network. Customer demand for data has almost doubled in the last three years, so we are investing to increase network capacity.

Please see below for the communication from Vodafone in relation to this:
“Like many companies, we’re experiencing a significant rise in the cost of running our network and providing our services, particularly driven by the higher cost of energy, staffing, logistics and transport and other inflationary factors. These cost increases are affecting many telecoms and broadband providers in the UK.

We understand and appreciate that nobody wants to see prices go up, but these price increases reflect the rising costs that we continue to face in running our network and providing our services. This will ensure that we can continue to provide the secure, reliable network and service you expect
from us.”
